The Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort offers peaks of culinary delights for ski gourmets at all levels and altitudes. At the lower terminus of the Kirchenkarbahn cable car, for instance, you’ll find the spectacular TOP Mountain Crosspoint. The futuristic multifunctional building combines a contemporary restaurant, panoramic terrace with plenty of chilling space and the TOP motorcycle museum. Built in 2015/2016, TOP Mountain Crosspoint attracts speed freaks as well as relaxation junkies in a modern architectural setting.

The self-service Wurmkoglhütte is easy to get to, so make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view of the Ötztal Alps, observe the snow action from the sun terrace and help yourself to refreshments. Whichever you choose, it has to be followed by a shot of apricot or Williams pear schnapps at the ice bar as you savour the panoramic views of the Gurgler glacier and the Ötztal Valley.

Close to a bus stop and the car park in Pill (Untergurgl), the umbrella bar at the Hochgurglbahn cable car station at 1,780m altitude offers high spirits in every sense of the word! Live music every Thursday at 7pm.

Rib eye steaks, prime ribs or spare ribs – whatever you choose, enjoy excellent barbecued meat and Tyrolean delicacies at 1,780m above sea level at the Hochgurglbah cable car lower terminus in Pill (Untergurgl). It’s enough to make any steak lover’s mouth water, but don’t worry if you prefer burgers, Tyrolean dumplings or Gröstl – you won’t miss out! Great for lunch on the sun terrace or an evening meal in rustic surrounding.
